Protecting your Skin in Summer

Can you feel the heat???

Your skin sure can~
Ladies... and gentlemen alike, summer is almost here and its getting hotter!
the sun rays are also not as gentle as they are

Don't forget your sunscreen before you leave home!
and i don't mean just on your face..

Don't forget to apply sunscreen/sun block lotion on your neck, hands and legs!
you dont want a sunburn while your walking down the street!

I use a SPF50 sunscreen. (yea.. i'm scared out of my wits.. i don't wan a sunburn neither do i wanna get darker)
I definitely recommend a SPF of at least 40 for good protection. the more the better! hahah

There's plenty of choices for Sunscreen in drug stores (Watson/Guardian)
Personally, i'm using the "Shiseido ANESSA Perfect UV Sunscreen AA SPF50+PA+++"

Which is also the NO.1 in ranking for the most popular Sunscreen according to Ageha June 2010 issue!

Be generous! Many girls and guys alike put on just a little because its sticky but many dont realize that applying just a little bit doesn't actually do anything for your skin.

so be generous with your sunscreen!

So much much is the correct amount?
One ounce, enough to fill a shot glass. Yup that much. Don't forget to apply lip balm with SPF to protect your lips as well.

Lastly, for those who really wants to protect their precious skin from the vicious sun rays, you have to pick up a "UV umbrella"

Sorry Rihanna, but Umbrella's are not only for fending the rain off~

Its not a big thing in Singapore to use a UV umbrella but its really good as a extra pre-caution to protect against the UV rays.
I carry my UV umbrella everywhere i go when i lived in Tokyo. Every girl in tokyo carries her UV umbrella with her throughout Summer.

You can get UV umbrellas in Departmental stores or just keep your eyes peeled out for them

Enjoy Summer after equipping youself with sunscreen!!

But whats summer without fashion??
Stay tune for my next post which is all about Summer fashion with Popsister!
