Robot Restaurant Shinjuku

Hey everyone

I saw the coolest thing on my way home the other day, was walking to Shinjuku station with naoki when we saw 2 statue like things from afar.

we went closer and this is what we saw



this is freaking life size~ everyone was gathering around taking pictures of the two lovely robot ladies.
check out the seat located very suspiciously on their crotch area. apparently this robots are moveable when you seat, you can see 2 remote control-like sticks on either side on the seat to control movement.

I was spasm-ing out when i saw this~ hurhurhur i was like ROBOTS girls with BOOBS *squeals*

these robot girls were spotted all over shinjuku making every passerby stop and ogle at them hohoho





apparently the "Robot Restaurant" has been the talk of the town here in Shinjuku
with poster plastered vehicles driving around town promoting

The restaurant is a themed restaurant with gigantic robot operated by cute girls serving you drinks
and to amp it up, there will be dancers performing in "slotted time shows" a few times a night.

Located in the busy street of kabuki-cho

Scandal Budokan (short)

Hello everyone,

i know its been months since i last posted.
i promised a scandal post but i completely forgotten about it.

anyway, the concert was a blast! the girls were A-MAZING
i haven seen them in almost half a year, the last time i saw them was in november 2011 for their shibuya live.

Merchandise. wanted to get the towel but they were all sold out.



I was seated at the guest area on the 2nd floor tier area with the other guests from kitty agency, the talent agency the girls are with.

the set list was incredible, everything from their indies period to the debut songs like "doll" and the latest singles like "harukaze".



i was talking to one of the label people from epic records and they were telling me how much the girls have grown since forming the band. they couldnt even play properly at the beginning and transforming into the rock stars they are today.
i couldnt be more happier for the girls

went to dinner with the sozo gang that came from Singapore to do some business work and guys from the industry as well.

i didnt get a photo with the girls this time but i promised i'll get photos the next time i see them which would probably be somewhere this month or in june.

International Food Festival

hey Y'all

Anyway, my school held a International Food Festival a few days ago, an event set up by the international club~ there was food from various countries prepared by students from the school.

The food wasn't free but ALL the proceeds will go directly to the TOHOKU community in our school which will help the Earthquake/Tsunami victims. so its all for a wonderful cause.

Ilie, Naoki, Eigo and myself decided to do something for the event and since its a international event and we're a international school. we decided to go with Lady Gaga's "Born this way" to show our love to everyone!







HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE MY SHOES?! they are a whopping 5 inch tall!







The mic was terrible (well the mics and sound system were not made for performance purposes)
but i had a blast singing with my boys despite the sound.


Up next was the INCREDIBLE dance number by the dance club.
this girls were fantastic. they did a traditional dance which was sooooo cool.

Big huge props and thanks to the international club for making this event happen and to donate all the proceeds to the rehabilitation and rebuilding of the Tohoku area.

wonder festival winter 2012

How is February treating you guys?

It's freezing cold here in Japan and it snowed on and off the entire night yesterday (17th February)
on that note, HAPPY VALENTINES!

Anyway, i had a exciting sunday last week with non other than the awesome Danny Choo.
most of you should know it was WONDER FESTIVAL winter 2012 on the 12th Feb in Makuhari.

the event was a big hugee eye opener for me, i'd never expected the event to take up 8 convention halls and the figure and companies that were present had the most amazing figures i laid eyes on. OF course the most impressive being GoodSmile. The line for taking pictures never lighten up the entire day

Look who we bumped into! none other than celebrity cosplayer Kipi
alot of people don't know this but i use to work with Kipi in the same Cosplay Cafe back in 2007 when i was studying Japanese in Tokyo. Haven seen her in 5years!




My favorite cosplayer that day (with the exception of Kipi)
He's a staff of one of the booth at the halls but he decided to cosplay as Barnaby aka Bunny of Tiger and Bunny. He has the exact proportions of Bunny-kun!! and i've got the biggest fetish for megane(glasses), melted when i saw him!!! ooooooooo~ too perfect
I so wanted to take a picture with him.. but i was too shy. uuuuuuu >_< bunny-kun....




Had to resort to talking pictures with me iphone due to the lack of a camera. but at least i got to twit live after i take pictures of the figures! anyway OLD SCHOOL MUCH?! cardcaptor sakura! i still have my deck of clow cards and sakura wand. good times.
