school's out for the summer~

Hey everyone,

i'm finally done with my summer semester and SCHOOL'S OUT until
the spring semester begins in the fall this september.

its been a nightmare of a semester and i'm sooo glad its over and done with.
though i am going to miss tons of my schoolmates who are graduating. most of them
have been just the best people to be around with and i'm going to miss them dearly.

but summer is here and its time to let down those wavy locks and bring out the mojitos and head down to the beach for a good rest and relax session!

pig out day~food in Omotesando

Happy Umi no hi~
a.k.a Ocean Day

A holiday to commemorate the voyage that the Japanese Emperor made in 1876.
A national holiday which only means one thing = NO SCHOOL

i took this day to hang out with David and Karina in omotesando.
There must be a festival in Harajuku because when i transferred change in harajuku there were sooo many people and theres barricades and all.

anyway, i went out to "Cafe Madu" in Aoyama/Omotesando where we had wine and i had this fabulous

French Toast with Caramelized banana



Then we went over to the Chocolate bar nearby "cacao sampaka"



and had this amazing dark chocolate mousse cake and wine to compliment it




After our stomachs were filled and we were stuffed, we head on to David's apartment in Shinjuku which is gorgeous by the way and did i mention he has 2 cats! both of the Persian family.
the purpose for today was actually to do our mass media project which we decided on a radio show since its easy and fast to do. we did our recording at his place and my part was "celebrity gossip" which i unfortunately am obsessed with. i can score a easy 100 if there was ever a celebrity gossip pop quiz.

Not forgetting dinner, we head on over to a Indian restaurant for some nan and curry!
I even had tapioca tea! aka Bubble tea wooooohooooo



I'm sooooo stuffed now. just came back to my apartment and i have to rush out my history essay >_< booooo.
Anyway, i'm pretty sure i gained like 5pounds from all the eating i did


happy umi no hi again~ tons of folks take this holiday to head on to the beach for a nice holiday. i might do that next year! the beach sounds nice with this beautiful summer weather.

spring spring spring

Helloooo everyone,

Just a FIY, the post's all wordy and all. but its not too long. just a quite update for everyone.

Spring is finally upon us! I've been waiting what seemed like forever for the season to change~ Winter never fails to bring my entire mood down and it never seems to end UNTIL now!

winter seemed to have dragged its lazy ass all the way till late march... but now that April is just a couple of days away we finally see a nice change to the weather here in Japan. Yes there have been a couple of rainy days but the warmer weather is SOOO WELCOME!

April's gonna be awesome! i can already tellllll

Its sakura season early april so im gonna do a little "hanami" [flower viewing]with a couple of friends and mates.

Then its off to a 3 day onsen trip with the mates in school!
I cant wait to just relax and do ABSOLUTELY nothing for 3 days except soak in the natural hot springs and down a couple of beers accompanied by lovely dishes served by the inn-owner
(JUST LIKE IN THE ANIMES woot!!!)

Plus the season's changing and i need some changing myself.
I'm letting go of my dark black hair! (i know some of you are jumping in joy now.. all you anti-black hair protestors!)
I still haven decided on what color im gonna go with, im a little stuck with choices.

ok, guess that's all for now.
I've gotta finish up my outline and draft for my research paper AND
i've got SCANDAL's BUDOKAN on wednesday 28th march 2012! i'm all excited for that!

International Food Festival

hey Y'all

I know i haven blogged in forever. BUT i have been updating my facebook page pretty often so if your bored and got nothing better to do, go check that out.

Anyway, my school held a International Food Festival a few days ago, an event set up by the international club~ there was food from various countries prepared by students from the school.

The food wasn't free but ALL the proceeds will go directly to the TOHOKU community in our school which will help the Earthquake/Tsunami victims. so its all for a wonderful cause.

Ilie, Naoki, Eigo and myself decided to do something for the event and since its a international event and we're a international school. we decided to go with Lady Gaga's "Born this way" to show our love to everyone!







HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE MY SHOES?! they are a whopping 5 inch tall!







The mic was terrible (well the mics and sound system were not made for performance purposes)
but i had a blast singing with my boys despite the sound.


Up next was the INCREDIBLE dance number by the dance club.
this girls were fantastic. they did a traditional dance which was sooooo cool.

wonder festival winter 2012

How is February treating you guys?

It's freezing cold here in Japan and it snowed on and off the entire night yesterday (17th February)
on that note, HAPPY VALENTINES!

Anyway, i had a exciting sunday last week with non other than the awesome Danny Choo.
most of you should know it was WONDER FESTIVAL winter 2012 on the 12th Feb in Makuhari.

Wonder Festival aka biggest garage kit and figure event in the world!

the event was a big hugee eye opener for me, i'd never expected the event to take up 8 convention halls and the figure and companies that were present had the most amazing figures i laid eyes on. OF course the most impressive being GoodSmile. The line for taking pictures never lighten up the entire day

Look who we bumped into! none other than celebrity cosplayer Kipi
alot of people don't know this but i use to work with Kipi in the same Cosplay Cafe back in 2007 when i was studying Japanese in Tokyo. Haven seen her in 5years!




My favorite cosplayer that day (with the exception of Kipi)
He's a staff of one of the booth at the halls but he decided to cosplay as Barnaby aka Bunny of Tiger and Bunny. He has the exact proportions of Bunny-kun!! and i've got the biggest fetish for megane(glasses), melted when i saw him!!! ooooooooo~ too perfect
I so wanted to take a picture with him.. but i was too shy. uuuuuuu >_< bunny-kun....




Had to resort to talking pictures with me iphone due to the lack of a camera. but at least i got to twit live after i take pictures of the figures! anyway OLD SCHOOL MUCH?! cardcaptor sakura! i still have my deck of clow cards and sakura wand. good times.
