Pastels for spring (Spring Gyaru Fashion 2012)

Hey everyone,

I havent done a Japanese Fashion blog in almost a year now. its not i dont follow the trend, i just dont blog about it anymore.

but i decided to jump back into the band wagon and start blogging about Japanese fashion again since i'm living right smack in the middle of it all, TOKYO.

Its SPRING SPRING SPRING and the spring trend is spotted everywhere in Tokyo now.
So what's the current trend?

For starters, the weather has lighten up from the bitter cold of winter and our moods have all lifted along with the season. that goes for colors as well.....


first up for SPRING TREND IS: PASTEL COLORS

PASTELS are BACK baby

think of PINK, YELLOW, BLUE, GREEN, ORANGE, PURPLE, BEIGE and the ice cream shades.
the trend is not only rocked out in Japan, but in all the major fashion cities everywhere. think Milan, Paris, New York, everyone is rocking the pastels.




Men's jacket in pastels are all the rage~ Think boyfriend shirts in jacket form. its not supposed to be fitted and the length should go by your hips and butts.

be brave and take on colors you never dared to.
think orange, pink, sky blue, mint colors. my personal recommendations are MINT and PINK jackets. they are sooo easy to match with and are such a bold statement.






the weather's perfect now, its not too cold that you need tights, perfect to show off those pretty gams (legs) of yours now.
show off those sexy legs of yours by choosing a knee length flowy dress




Knee length skirts and minis are also favorites of spring
pleats, frills, lace are a perfect choice of material for your bottom wear.







just remember not to go toooo pastel crazy and mix-match wrongly the colors.
rule to remember: never put on more than 2 trend in a outfit.

stick to a pastel jacket or a pastel colored bottom and pair it with a plain top, a blouse is perfect for spring.

Japanese School uniform

Hey Y'all

check out the title of the post~
peculiar i know~ ^_^

And so the story goes....

I went to a friend's house the other week and i look through her closet and saw her uber cute school uniform hanging on the side

and of course..

i had to try it on~

*took the picture without putting the bow on #_#* idiotic of me...*




anyhow, this post isn't about me or the fact i didnt put the bow on.
its about

where you guys can get the "uniform"



I get tons of questions about where to "get" the Japan school girl stuffs
here i am with answers

Firstly you gotta know that most schools dont have a school uniform code, so the girls
mix and match their skirts/bows.


1) inside shirt - Its just a plain old white shirt (long or short sleeves). you can get it at any department store or even a apparel store. *no specific stores*
Term in Japanese: Y Shirt *pronounce as Wai sya-tsu*

2) School skirt - most get them from uniform stores found around town.
(theres one in Harajuku and Sunshine city in Ikebukuro)

Term in Japanese *su-ka-to*

Skirts, shirts, bows, tie can all be found here. *boys as well*




3) Sweater - Almost all high schoolers get them from UNIQLO specifically.
the one i'm wearing is also from uniqlo.

Term in Japanese *Se-ta*


4) Socks - black, white, loose socks. basically you can get them from every socks/stocking store. they should have it.
if you worried try shibuya/Harajuku streets. i guarantee you'll find a store

Term in Japanese: Socks *pronounce as So-ku-su*



5) Shoes aka Loafers - Try "Donkihote". they have them pretty cheap like 3,000yen.

Term in Japanese : *ro-fa-*




6) bows/tie: try "paris kids" in Takeshita dori (Harajuku) or any big accesory store. they should cost
no more than 500yen. Ties try department stores

Term in Japanese *ri-bon* for ribbon and *ne-ku-tai* for necktie*




7) Bag - Donkihote or Department stores. no more than 4000yen.

Term in Japanese *ba-gu*

Room Wear

Ok, i'll admit i'm not too big of a "Room-Wear" girl. i got no boyfriend and i'm lazy to dress up at my own dang place but after flipping through popteen and popsister, one can't help but fall in love with the
"Room-Wear" Fashion!!

And soo...

I went out to Shibuya 109 today and got myself a couple of "Pajamas (PJs)"!
I forgot the name of the store which i got mine at. they werent in Shibuya 109, but the boutiques around the area.






Moko-moko fur ones are soooo cute and fluffy~
and they're soooo soft and warm during the cold winter nights~

( i'm not looking into the camera because i took out my lens and lashes before taking the photo >_<~ )
*too embarrassed to show you guys!!*





Sorry~ i only got pictures of this one. i put them all for washing before taking photos #_#~
This one is Beige and Pink(at the edges) and it has 2 Fur-balls dropping at the ends of the hood~ super cute! oh and the hood are cat-ears~!





Oh i got myself room-slippers~ I can NEVER get enough of Animal Print~
It's LOVE
and its pink! super cute



I got a bunch of other stuff from *Egoist* as well but I put them all to wash before taking pictures as well #_#~
